Amanda "Mandy" Ayala Cuadrado Wins AFBA NGAUS Active Life Member Scholarship as Daughter of Puerto Rico National Guard Officer

In a significant achievement that shines light on the legacy of service and excellence, Amanda "Mandy" Ayala Cuadrado was recently named as one of the recipients of the renowned AFBA NGAUS Active Life Member Scholarship. The announcement, made on July 26, recognized Mandy's dedication to her studies and her deep-rooted connection to the National Guard Association of the United States.

The scholarship, which awards $5,000 to its recipients, holds a special place for Amanda as she is the proud daughter of Capt. Ernesto Ayala, a dedicated officer of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard and a NGAUS lifetime member. Her achievement is not just a testament to her individual determination and prowess but also reflects the values and commitment instilled by her family's tradition of service.

 

Amanda's plans are set. With the assistance of the scholarship, she is gearing up to delve into the world of industrial chemistry at the esteemed University of Puerto Rico.

 

The AFBA NGAUS Active Life Member Scholarship, presented annually, is especially designed for NGAUS active life and digital life members and their family members who are committed full-time students. This year, the competition was particularly fierce with nearly 200 hopefuls vying for the scholarship.

 

Amanda's win is not only an accolade for her but also a proud moment for the Puerto Rico National Guard community, emphasizing the bond between educational pursuits and the values of service and duty.
